•01/31/2007 Hi Folks, just returned from another
great show. This time we set up camp at the Mesa Convention Center
in Phoenix, AZ. What a time. We made more friends, acquired more fans,
and had an overall better time than Wizard World LA last year. Go figure.
The crowd was a bit smaller creating a much more intimate setting allowing
us to spend more time talking with the attendees.
With
all of the creative, incredibly talented people at the show, we are
truly grateful for the wonderful compliments we received while at the
show. Here are just a couple of examples of the accoladaes we received:
Stacey writes:
"I enjoyed reading the first two issues
of Stykman. I wish the issues were a little bit longer though. And
I would like to know more about Stykman’s and Al’s backgrounds.
It was nice meeting you at Comicon. Hope to see you at the next convention
in Arizona."
Jose writes:
"Hey man thank you for the
autograph books. I really cant wait to see you at the comic shop (
Drawn to Comics Sat 02/17). I hope that everything goes well.
It was a pleasure to have met you at the comic convention."
There we some wonderful guests at the show including:
George Perez, Brian Pulido (Lady Death), Noel Neil (Original Lois Lane),
Mike Bullocks (Lions, Tigers, and Bears), Angel Medina (Spiderman),
Christian Beranek (Dracula Vs King Arthur), Raven Greggory (The
Gift), Dave Beaty (Bushi Tales), Brian Miller (Hi-Fi colour), as
well a real life superhero, FEEDBACK from "Who wants to be a superhero?".
It was an honor and real pleasure spending time with all of them.
Last, but not least, we would like to take this opportunity
to thank Matt Solberg and crew for all of their
hard work to bring this convention to life. We're looking forward to
what you folks have in store for us next year.
Thanks again, Phoenix. It was a real blast. We will
be back next year. Count on it!!!
