•08/11/2005 While in San Diego, I had the opportunity to meet several celebrities. One of my favorite was Michael Rooker (Days of Thunder, Tombstone). What a great guy he turned out to be. He always plays an unlikeable character on screen. It was a wonderful surprise. By the way, he & his daughter loved STYKMAN so much he came back the next day and bought a second copy as well as a Tshirt. I was unable to get a photo of us together at the time.

Next up was Kevin Grievoux. Anyone who has seen UNDERWORLD knows Kevin. With an imposing stature and ominous voice, one cannot help but recognize him. Not only was he the writer, he played one of the enforcing werewolves. Anyways, I had the opportunity to speak at length with him. Come to find out he has been a devouted Minnesota Vikings fan since he was a child. I couldn't help but needle him with the fact that Randy Moss is now in California. He assured me it will not help Oakland. We'll know come football season.
What a wonderful person he is. I really wish I had taken a picture with this man. I am 6'2" and weigh approximately 225lbs and he dwarfed me. Regardless of his temperment, I would hate to meet this man in an alley in broad daylight let alone nighttime. By the way, Kevin is promoting a few titles he has written called astounding comics. You can see a preview of them at

Another name to mention is Priscilla Barnes. You may know her better as Teri from "Three's Company." Aside from being attractive as ever, this woman is a hoot. I laughed so hard at some of the comments she made. Through a strange set of circumstances my brother-in-law began a conversation with her. That conversation led to Priscilla spending all day Sunday in our booth signing production stills from "The Devils Rejects" which she had a role in. We plan on staying in touch with Priscilla and her husband Ted. Unless she otherwise filming, expect to be able to meet Priscilla next year in Los Angeles and San Diego.

•08/10/2005 What an amazing time it was down in San Diego. The response form the fans was overwhelming. We sold approxiamtely 200 copies of our comic con exclusive issue #1. We have received nothing but compliments from fans, retailers, and pros alike. I am both flattered and humbled by the experience. Thank you.

A special Thank You to all of you who have waited patiently for this character to finally make it to the printed page. We were overwhelmed by the loyalty. I hope you were not disappointed by issue #1. Hopefully we will be able to continue to keep the momentum going.

• 08/09/2005 Sorry for the delay. We have experienced computer and server problems since we returned from the convention,
Check back this week (08/10) for a review of this convention.
